Please take this crisis seriously and stay home. We must contain this as fast as possible to lessen the devastation to lives and the economy. While we are all at home, let's try to turn this into a positive. I've compiled some ideas and resources. Please leave your ideas and resources in the comment section.
#DONATE Don't forget your local rescues, sanctuaries and charities for humans and animals, that rely on visitors and events to sustain them. The local ones need it most. They are really struggling. They are without the help and financial support they need to care for people and animals.
Spend more time with your family and animal companions.
Play games.
Talk.
Read a great book.
Play parlor games (charades, etc).
Go for walks, get out to your local park (remember to self distance!)
Get into your favorite hobby now that you have the time.
Get creative. Write. Learn to knit, paint, sew, whatever it is.
Organize your space and de-clutter your living space. Clean out the garage. I am an advocate for clearing out what no longer serves you in your living space. It’s amazing what it can do for your mind and spirit. Clutter is the enemy of clarity" Julia Cameron. This is certainly true for me. . I am getting rid of things I am just hanging on to and keeping those things that meet this criteria: It brings me joy. I actually use it. The rest I am donating, throwing out or passing it over to a family member to keep.
Finish projects around the house that you have been meaning to get to. The next step is completing projects and tasks that have been put off or not finished. These uncompleted projects and loose ends are always in the back of your head and not only zap you energetically, but also create a lack of clarity, focus and feeling ungrounded. Why not schedule in a time to get rid of clutter or complete some long overdue projects or tasks? It will feel wonderful.
Get physical. Find online workouts or free ones on TV or Youtube and get into better shape. Come out of this a better you.
